Mixed use development comprising 32 apartments and 1190 sqm ground floor retail space with 4 levels of underground car parking. (DA-CC-OC).
The client's brief was to change the use of the partially built project from commercial to mixed use. That was due to council rezoning of the precinct. Four levels of car parking, cores and the ground floor retail space were constructed according to a previous approvals. The challenge was to ensure the compliance of already constructed portion of the building, while designing the new areas. Also with the lift cores and staircases being constructed achieving SEPP 65 requirements for all upper floors apartments were arduous.
