Based on the Affordable Housing State Policy, this boarding house is designed to have 20 self contained lodgers and outdoor and indoor communal spaces.
The site has 3 frontages with great exposure to public realm. The proposal is designed to take into account the predominant location of the site by creating an active ground plane. Modularity in the design of the rooms and wet areas were considered for the purpose of time/cost savings.
